New Features
Word Document Previews: Diagrams, embedded graphics, watermarks, and table formatting now display beautifully and correctly when previewing .docx files in the app.
Special Character Support for Filenames: File uploads now preserve special characters (like "&", "%", spaces, and parentheses) in filenames instead of silently stripping them out.
3D AI Elevation Logic: Ei Everywhere’s AI can now make distinctions between being at elevation on a deck vs. just at elevation, allowing for quick determinations of whether a job will require scaffolding or access.
Auto-Render Tablet Version of Ei Everywhere in Browser Mode: The app now auto-detects when a user is logged in on a tablet and auto-renders the optimized tablet version of Ei Everywhere.
Improvements
XER File Upload Overhaul: Upgraded XER file uploads with full sync support, better handling of concurrent uploads, and automated email notifications when file processing completes.
Chatbot History: Improved chatbot history loading with much faster reopening from cache and smoother overall message handling.
Panorama Performance: Streamlined panorama image handling to remove inefficient caching, resulting in faster and smoother performance.
Scoped Data Archiving: External data archiving is now scoped strictly to individual integrations, preventing unintended data changes across different integrations.
Fixes
Fixed an issue where "Save to PDF" was printing markups rotated 90° on certain CAD drawings.
Fixed text wrapping issues in textbox markups when exporting sheets to PDF.
Fixed a bug that caused duplicate drawings to appear in the Teams & Layers view after opening settings.
Fixed duplicate layers appearing in the object layer edit dropdown.
Fixed transparent markups (zero opacity) disappearing and becoming unselectable.
Fixed an issue on iPads where tapping "Add Context" would open the file picker instead of the context menu.
Fixed the Walkdown Mode System dropdown collapsing to show only the selected system instead of the full list.
Fixed geolocation showing "NaN, NaN" in list view for objects positioned on non-main scan layers.
Fixed text detection switching to the wrong scan layer when locating a pano.
Fixed a bug where saving a point of view on the overall view made objects unlocatable on newer layers.
Fixed a cache bug that could incorrectly affect session expiry and cause users to appear logged out.
Fixed the "Create More" button not working correctly when adding subtasks as markups.
Fixed an accidental markup trigger when pasting text into input fields.
Fixed date property values exporting incorrectly in some specific cases.
Fixed XER integration status and sync times not updating correctly after processing.
Fixed SVG arc rendering alignment issues in the Forge viewer.
Fixed an issue where comment-only layer permissions weren't checked correctly, preventing unauthorized modifications.
